The celebration of the parenting book, Raising Stars: The Challenges and Joys of Being a Bollywood Parent, authored by Rashmi Uchil, and published by Fingerprint Publishing, transformed into a gala evening with a thought-provoking panel discussion on the nuances of parenting, deftly steered by moderator Shalini Vikrant. The panel, graced by the presence of award-winning actress Madhoo Shah, former Miss World Yukta Mookhey, clinical psychologist Dr. Hvovi Bhagwagar, and author Rashmi Uchil, delved into pressing topics such as overparenting, combating bullying, nurturing children within traditional family structures, and the pivotal role of fathers. The conversation was full of insights leaving the attendees with newfound perspectives and valuable takeaways.
Also present were Literary Agent Dipti Patel, Founder WordFamous and Shobha Pillai of Times of India and all the teachers of the author added their experiences of educating the kids and how the GenZ had to be dealt with more compassion, love and freedom.
